criminal justice or security field that has, by distinguished service, exemplified the standards, values and ethics recognized
and applauded by the profession and the community.

This special citation may be presented to any individual who, at great risk
of personal peril, and without consideration for his or her personal safety, performs an act of bravery by saving a life,
attempting to save a life, or, in the face of disaster, ensures the safety and well-being of others.

NPSOAA Certificate of Appreciation
This certificate is available for prsentation to an individual who, through
his or her support and assistance, has aided law enforcement, safety and/or security organizations, and/or the NPSOAA in maintaining
and advancing its goals and values.

The Certificate of Commendation is available for presentation to a group or
organization that, through their support and assistance, have aided law enforcement, safety and security, and/or the NPSOAA
in maintaining its goals and values.

NPSOAA Police and Security Instructor Certification
The NPSOAA will nationally recognize as a Police Instructor, an individual who,
through completion of a recognized training program; can produce certifiable credentials attesting to the training and level
of certification of that as an Instructor. Application for the certification must be approved by the National Police
and Security Officers Association of America's National Board of Directors and only upon verification of training documentation.

NPSOAA Security and Loss Prevention Instructor Certification
The NPSOAA will nationally recognize as a Security and Loss Prevention Instructor,
an individual who, through completion of a recognized training program; can produce certifiable credentials attesting to the
training and level of certification of that as an Instructor. Application for the certification must be approved by
the National Police and Security Officers Association of America's National Board of Directors and only upon verification
of training documentation.
