INTRODUCTION
ORGANIZATION
The National
Police Officers Association of America, founded in 1955, and The National Police
and Security Officers Association of America (NPSOAA), from its original inception, was added in 2003
for the purpose of:
--Establishing
better understanding and community relations between the law enforcement and security professions, employers, and the
community-at-large;
--Recognizing
and saluting the noteworthy, heroic and commendable efforts of law enforcement officers, corrections and security professionals,
on all levels, and citizens for their respective actions to protect, serve and maintain the highest degree
of law and order in America and worldwide;
--Supporting
the efforts of law enforcement and security agencies in promoting both officer and public safety;
--Instilling
a greater perspective and higher degree of respect throughout our society for the local and multi-jurisdictional
law enforcement and security professions; and
--Assisting
and participating in community law enforcement and security related programs seeking to foster strong and positive community
relations and interest in crime prevention, public safety, and law and order.
The National Police and Security
Officers Association of America, (NPSOAA) in cooperation with the NPOAA, is managed by an elected all-volunteer Board of Directors
with an volunteer Executive Director and a volunteer office staff providing the highest caliber of professional member and
agency services.
The
NPOAA/NPSOAA is a joint association comprised of both law enforcement and security professionals on all levels, as
well as concerned citizens who advocate enhanced professional standards of the highest degree for all law enforcement in creating
a safe society for all citizens. It is our non-salaried, volunteer Membership
and Management Team, at their finest, making a difference!
MEMBERSHIP
WHO
IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN NPSOAA?
Any law enforcement officer or
security professional, retired or active, or any citizen who supports the law enforcement effort in the United States and
the world, may become a member in the National Police and Security Officers Association of America.
Former members of the NPOAA may opt to consider themselves
as continuous NPOAA members or NPSOAA members, or both. Their unique assigned membership codes will serve as a reference to
either or both membership designations.
All membership applications are reviewed by the NPOAA/NPSOAA
Summary Membership Committee prior to full member status being afforded to any applicant.
This combination of professionals
and citizens, working together in a series of coordinated efforts, contributes to the pride and integrity in
sharing a partnership to create a better understanding of each others individual and respective roles in its overall societal
role and fight against crime and injustice.
MEMBERSHIP
DUES
Dues for NPOAA/NPSOAA membership
are $35.00 annually. A completed application for new membership must be submitted with annual membership dues in the form
of a Check, Money Order or Credit Card data to the NPOAA/NPSOAA National Executive Offices.

The NPOAA/NPSOAA will sponsor
or announce the availability of periodic police and security training seminars, workshops and lectures during the year
addressing a host of timely topics of professional interest and concern.

capsulated information units to re-examine and educate, to refresh the individual officer and to Train-the-Trainer.
Periodically, FREE attendance tuitions to these nationally-acclaimed
training seminars and workshops will be made available to those members who express an interest in attending, as
they become available.

A periodic professional newsletter
is provided to each member online. This publication, the NPOAA/NPSOAA Review, is and will continue to be the official publication
of the National Police and Security Officers Association of America, in cooperation with the NPOAA, to serve as an informational
media for the exchange of ideas, articles, law enforcement related technology, products and services and trends in law enforcement
from both a national and international perspective.

commendable efforts of law enforcement and security professionals, as well as citizens whose efforts in the preservation
of law and order are exemplary.
